SIMULTANEOUS THERMAL ANALYSIS (STA)
Simultaneous Thermal Analysis, or STA, combines flexible Differential Temperature Analysis (DTA or DSC) with Thermogravimetry (TG). STA offers simultaneous measurement of changes of mass (TG) and caloric reactions (DSC) of a sample in a controlled atmosphere. Simultaneous measurement of properties not only improves productivity but also simplifies interpretation of the results.
Our STA instruments are capable of evaluating the heat resistance of plastics, research and development of ceramic binders and thermoelectric materials, ash content analysis of coal, and determining the quantity of carbon in rubber. Our simultaneous thermogravimetry instruments also use an Infrared Gold Image Furnace, so they can perform measurements with rapid heating and cooling.
