FULLY REFLECTIVE SOLAR SIMULATORS
A solar simulator (also known as "artificial sun") is a device that provides illumination approximating natural sunlight. The purpose of the solar simulator is to provide a controllable indoor test facility under laboratory conditions, used for the testing of solar cells, sun screen, plastics, and other materials and devices.
RotaLab provides several power versions of Class AAA fully reflective solar simulators. Rotalab's proprietary fully reflective design uses metal coated mirrors and passes the whole spectrum, no compromise. This is a distinct advantage over refractive based solar simulation systems that are limited by the properties of the transparent material used.
Conformity with ASTM, IEC and JIS standards about spectral matching, irradiance spatial non-uniformity and temporal instability is available for our fully reflective solar simulators.
