UV SOLAR SIMULATORS
A solar simulator (also known as "artificial sun") is a device that provides illumination approximating natural sunlight. The purpose of the solar simulator is to provide a controllable indoor test facility under laboratory conditions, used for the testing of solar cells, sun screen, plastics, and other materials and devices.
RotaLab’s high powered fully reflective UV solar simulators can be used for UV applications by replacing the solar filters with UV filters. The smallest model of our standard line is the 500 W system, allowing the researcher on a budget the ability to get high UV solar radiation. Rotalab's proprietary fully reflective design allows the system to get far more UV power on target than any other competitive system of equal size.
Conformity with ASTM, IEC and JIS standards about spectral matching, irradiance spatial non-uniformity and temporal instability is available for our UV solar simulators.
