LARGE AREA SOLAR SIMULATORS

A solar simulator (also known as "artificial sun") is a device that provides illumination approximating natural sunlight. The purpose of the solar simulator is to provide a controllable indoor test facility under laboratory conditions, used for the testing of solar cells, sun screen, plastics, and other materials and devices.

RotaLab supplies large area solar simulators capable of illuminating up to a 3x3 m area and even larger target areas with maximum spatial uniformity. Our large area solar illumination (LASI) systems comes with a revolutionary design in solar simulation and novel optics unrivalled in the current simulator market. Rotalab is also capable of supplying custom designed large area solar simulators if available products fail to meet specific technical requirements.

Conformity with ASTM, IEC and JIS standards about spectral matching, irradiance spatial non-uniformity and temporal instability is available for our large area solar simulators.
